My first parent coming on Wednesday!

I have my first parent coming round on wednesday to meet me. She wants me to look after ther 3 year old little girl and she wants me to look at her hubby's rota and see if i can work round it. But cos i havn't got any mindees yet, i won't find it too difficult!
I think she is desperate, as she has been loking for someone to work with her shift pattern for months.

Yes that's the one. I phoned her back today and she said she wasn't sure of hours and would ring me tomorrow, but she rang me almost striaght back, so she must be eager!

yea the woman i saw today wasnt sure of hours either but she was prepared to sign contracts but obviously she couldnt sign until she knew the hours so shes calling back once she knows.

At least if she comes round before knowing the hours you can work out if you like her or not and then if you dont think you could work together you can think up an excuse to not take her child lol

Hi,

Watch the hours won't restrict you too much with your numbers. I had a lady once ask about rolling weeks, 4 on 4 off. One week it would be 1 day another 4. I really couldn't see how it would work with others unless I had other shift workers, which restricts what I can offer other families.
