Hi all,

I was reading another thread about how much you all charge for evening meals. I was going to include mine in with the fees as I thought thats how it worked. :panic:

I now think I might be a bit of a mug if I do this!!

I am happy to give an evening meal as I will work till 6.30pm but as I will start at 7.30am I was going to offer breakfast if needed plus lunch plus any snacks.

So do you all think I should charge for the evening meal?, after all I would like some profit out of this!!

Thanks everyone x x

I think you will get lots of different answers to this question. I charge £1.75 per evening meal but don't charge for breakfast or lunch. I charge for tea because I really don't want to have to make tea for mindees as I like to eat with my dd and hubby at 6pm when he comes home from work, so really I charge to put parents off.:)

I don't charge for breakfast, lunch or snacks and I don't really want to do dinner (tea) but would, if need be. I'd charge £2.00 (and hope it acted as a deterrent!).

I have up to know gotten parents to bring all lunch and they go home at 5pm so don't do tea

But baby mum has asked me to do meals and offered £5 per day for this

I only charge extra for meals if parents mess me about saying that they don't want to pay for a full day because child is at school or to pay till 6 when they will always be here at 4.30 and then never turn up by 4.30 its my tea time and they are just taking the p**s so I'm going to charge £2.00 for tea. if you see what I mean.

I just find that I'm constantly covering my back for every eventuality.
