Hi All
Was after a it of advice if possible please?
Mum has asked if I would be willing to have her LO overnight on the odd occasion (not registered to do so yet so at present this is a no). However, this is something I have considered not on a full time basis but more like adhoc or an emergency. Can someone tell me what requirements Ofsted require to be able to register for overnight care.
I have a spare bedroom with a spare child's bed in it so space is not an issue as well as stair gates on my steps and a toilet upstairs. What else will I need?
Thanks all

I'm not registered for overnight care, so I may be wrong. I thought you needed to have separate bed linen for each child, in their own room (risk assessed - bed not too near radiator, window, etc) and you had to demonstrate how you will care for them during the night - e.g. use of a baby monitor to hear them, changing, night feeding (babies).
