sorry to sound thick, just wanted to make sure about RA's. If I went to the local park everyday with my mindee would I need to do RA everyday?

No you wouldn't. You just do the written risk assessment once and then review it regularly. You need to review it at least once a year but my inspector told me it is better if you can do it every 3 - 6 months. If something changes, for example if they install new climbing equipment at the park, then you need to update the risk assessment straight away.
You would also do a quick mental risk assessment every time you go to the park just by looking around and making sure everything looks safe:)

Thanks mummymia, need to get my head around all this paperwork. Should be used to all the paperwork as I work as a teaching assistant in the mornings!
