I last did my sef form just before my last inspection (2 years in june!!):o

I know thtats bad, but i simply forgot about it.:eek:

I did it on paper

I know your ment to update this but does that mean i have to print it out all over again or is there a way you can have it stored on the comp and keep adding to it then show it to ofsted when they come?

I save everything i have onto a memory stick so when ofsted come I just give them the memory stick and everything is there.

I have my main SEF and then I make additions by putting the date...

So the SEF goes blah blah

SEF review date - xxxx
And I add all the new stuff

SEF review date - xxxx
And I add all the new stuff

It doesn't matter how you add to it - either on paper or on the computer - just make sure you keep a record of any changes you make and when you made them.

If you submit your sef online Ofsted will only see the last thing you wrote, not how/when you changed things

so if i just type the bits on new paper with dates and things then I can just add it to the paper one at the back?

Wow!! So glad I read this thread - just about to update my SEF and thought I had to start all over again :blush:

Need to get it done for my diploma assessors visit on Tuesday.
