Local CIS

I am really stuck at the moment as I am not sure how to go about advertising with my local CIS, i have searched the internet but can't find any answers.
When I search for childminders in my area i go on a govenment website, how do I get put on that? Is that all to do with the CIS.

you have to wait till ofsted have confirmed that you are registered. They will then either ring you or send you a form to fill in. I filled my form in a few weeks ago and it seems to be taking a while to get on it.

I have had a look around the internet and I think it is the CIS and the local number for cambridgeshire is 0845 04 54 014.

Give them a call and ask for the paper work. They wont list you on the listing until they have had confirmation from OFSTED that you are now registered. I know my local CIS only get the list updated every 2 weeks but at least if they have your info there already it will be very quickly sorted once they hear from OFSTED.

And you thought all your waiting was done! Lol
