Do new CMs have to do CYPOP5 now instead of ICP?

Just wondering as the CYPOP seems to be a stand alone qualification and I'm clearly a little behind the times, lol

Thank you Lucylou. :)

I had wondered why there were so many questions about it :)

Ahh Louise we seem to have cross posted, maybe its a local area thing?

No Worries, it depends on your local authority and what course they recognise. They are all really the same thing but called different names, some count towards a higher qualification and some are entry level. Cypop 5 is the one offered by the NCMA, you have to pay for it but it is discounted by my local authority (hertfordshire). Think more LA's will be doing this as their budgets are cut.
HTH. :)
