Chocolate mud cake

The kids love making these and they are really quick and simple to do - just help of course with the melting of the chocolate

They are very very scrummy


Chocolate mud cake

200g butter
200g cooking choc
2 large eggs
100g caster sugar

Preaheat oven to 180/160 fan/gas4
Line a baking tray or grease

Cube the butter and break up the chocolate
Put in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water and gently melt
Remove from heat

Whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and mousse like , then add the melted choc and butter and whisk again

Pour the mixture into the tray and bake for 12-14 min

Leave to cool then slice into around 18 slices

That choc raisin slice is so yummy, hubby said so too, he keeps having a piece when he goes to the fridge :thumbsup:
