Do they send you tax return?

Hi, I got my first child last october and registered as self employed and have paid my ni contributions the tax office sent.
I have done my accounts but am wondering will i get a tax return in the post to complete? i'm new to this side of things and don't know how it all works!

Hi, I'm new to the whole accounts and tax return too, started minding in September. I've just received a letter today from HMRC about completing my tax return, with all the dates and info you need. I'm sure it won't be too long before you get one too. Hx
