CRB waiting

Hi there. My CRB went into proceess on 17 March. It's now passed thru to Stage 4 and is with the police. Will it be with my local police force or might it be with a previous force (I have lived in this area for 4 years)? Whichever force it is with, can i call them and chase it up at this point at all??

Once the CRB is through, will that stimulate the Ofsted pre-reg visit to take place???

Ofsted will chase it for you if it's been with the police for 60 days (I think it's 60 they have to get it done).

Until then there's not a lot you can do from what I understand.

If you have lived in different areas it is likely to take longer as they have to do more work.

I had my pre-reg visit before my CRB came back, i had a lot of difficulty getting all the right paper work in my married name, once i had got it in it only took 3weeks and i had 4 addresses down. You can get a tracking number from ofsted.
