Most of mine finish on Friday 8th but I had 1 mindee that broke up last Friday, their parent is a teacher in a private school.

I'm off for the whole 2 weeks :clapping:
We are going to Alton Towers for a couple of days and I've got the DHC unit 3 to write up and family coming over for Easter Day but other than that not much happening.

My dds broke up last Thurs and go back after Easter Monday. Dd1 has loads of revision to do for her AS level exams dd2 has a better social life than me!!!

Ours our - a little bit of planning done - mostly will be what the children want to do and the weather - cinema and bowling always requested and hopefully Pizza Hut will have a special on too

Lots of craft this week as most of mine are term time or on holidays themselves

Ours break up this friday. Then abck to school for the 27th and 28th, then off for the bank hol weekend. Then back to school for 3 weeks before the half term holiday starts!

ours broke u last friday for two weeks, they go back on 18th then off on the friday and monday for bank holidays, are l.a has started doing the holidays different this year for some reason, we just now have long weekend for easter and the holidays before!! :laughing:

Hi Ziggy - from Northern Ireland too - ours kids off this Thursday and Friday - not really sure why - then back a full week and then a fortnight off for Easter. Then the next week off the Monday for Mayday and Thursday for elections. So all in all not really at school very much of April at all! - will need to get organised with some crafty things for them all to do.

Struggle keeping the olders ones amused - 11, 10 and 9 - especially when they appear at 8am empty handed not even a book.... makes for a long day. Then they moan when we go for a long walk and stop at the park.

We pick up from 2 schools, one breaks up this Friday and the other next Friday. Also one of my daughters is off for the 1st 2 weeks and the other for the 2nd to weeks. Has made planning very difficult :angry: The only up side to it is, we are off the middle week when all the schools are off :clapping:

That's exactly the same as our school. Mitchell thinks all these hols are great although Charley hates them :D

We've got Easter activities planned but as I STILL DON'T KNOW who will be here I'm not planning any days out as such. Might go to Tittesworth but it depends on the weather.

Hoping to meet up with Nell and Fussy again, we all had a great time last time :clapping:

I dont mind any school children yet and the LO's I mind are here all year round apart from public holidays which we have a lot of this month. I got lots planned for these days I can tell you. Time to spend with my family and friends. Can't wait. :clapping:

I do know that in our area they break up this friday (8th) and go back to school on the 26th for 3 days then off again till 3rd May. So thats a total of 9 days at school this month.

My two break up on Thurs, dh breaks up on Friday and they all go back on the Tuesday after Easter. I'm working next week and will have one after school one on Wed and Thurs and then I'm off for two weeks and don't start back until the day after the May BH.

Ammend that the dozy mum has just told me she has booked next week off, when i'm working, but not the two after and can I have dd? Err no, :eek: I told you when my holidays were at the beginning of Feb I am on holday those 2 weeks. Honestly I wonder what planet some of these parents are on and she was a childminder as well :rolleyes:

Oh Rickysmiths - that sounds so typical!! I booked my last years break for end of August and told my mummies my holiday dates for the whole year in January. She then asked me a few weeks before if my week off in August was set in stone as really it didnt suit her to take off!! - er i gave you almost 8 months notice!!!

mine break up this friday and the 2nd school finish thursday as they have a teacher training day although the parent hasnt asked me to look after said child as yet and as i have now made other plans I wont be able too anyway, ours are at school 8 days this month and as some of the mindees are term time only I will only have them for 5 days this month:eek:

I am just working Mon-Thurs next week. I've booked Friday off as I'm going to be a bridesmaid on Saturday 16th! - I'm so excited and nervous for my best friend of 14 years!

I'm then off the 2nd week and we're going away in our caravan - I cant wait.

My own kids break up this Friday and back for three days (26th to 28th april). None of my families have asked me to work any of the bank holidays which is good for me.

I had planned to take a whole week off but as we are about the complete on a house purchase I'm saving my time off for moving!

Our schools break up on friday 15th and return on tuesday 3rd may and apart from the bank holidays i am working every day.

I am going to be very busy as everybody needs me every day that they are contracted for and that will mean three 1 year olds at times.

I have got lots of easter things planned and some trips, but that will be dependant on the children. I think we will just play it by ear, lets just say i am glad nobody needs me on the bank holidays this year. xx

Today 4th April - no school as training day

8th April - last day

26th April - first day back

29th April - Royal Wedding

So thats 7 days at school in April

Definitely have one child 4 days of week beginning 11th and 3 days of week beginning 18th and may have another one but wont know till end of the week. No plans made apart from 1 library activity provisionally booked for 2 children just in case.
