How much notice for visit? [Archive]

Hi everyone

I still haven't had my pre-reg visit :(
I phoned Ofsted last friday who put me through to Prospects. The woman there told me they had a deadline of the 8th April. Does that mean they have to visit me before the 8th April, or they have to phone me to make an appointment by the 8th April? How much notice do they usually give?

I'm not sure but didn't want to read and run:D

When I had mine it was within 2 weeks then she called me the next day and booked it for a week's time. :thumbsup:

Mine was before Prospect did it so it was OFSTED calling and then inspector called the next day and arranged appointement for next week but only because that was convenient for me and she also gave me her direct number in case I had to rearrange.

Ofsted told me that Prospects have had my details since the 11th of March. I don't understand why it's taking so long! :mad:
I had my briefing session in June last year! This is taking sooooooo long! It's frustrating.... I just want to start minding!

prospects ahd my details a couple of weeks before they called me to arrange a visit, they had until april 5th and my visit is the 7th as i had rang several times asking for a visit

i had 2-3 weeks notice of my visit

try calling prospects

She's coming on Thursday! Very excited/scared!
But very happy I now know when she's coming! :D

no im petrifies just checking that i have completed the necessary paperwork and finishing my questions. im also worried about the EYFS

she said around 10.30/11.00

Good luck ladies, mine is at 1 tomorrow afternoon! Im scared stiff to that I dont know enough but I dont think we can be expected to know everything as I think its probably learn as you go along? Plus I havent done the childminding course as yet (got 6 months from registering).

mine rang yeaterday and booked for friday. 4 days to prepare and cram....ready steady go!!!! Think ive got all the paperwork that i can, just gotta get my head straight as im not very eloquent!!

Got the call today and Mrs O is coming on Mon 18th in the a.m. Am so glad I've got a good bit of notice, got a few little jobs I need to do round the house!
