Hi All, Im a little confussed so I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I am just in the process of becoming registered and I think im in the final stages (all I have left is for my CRB to come back and my visit from OFSTED). Does anyone know if Im supposed to complete an SEF form for my visit (which is Monday! Ekkkk). I did my course about 9 months ago and am totally confused on what im supposed to have in place for my first visit from OFSTED. I will probably not be having children for a while as I havent decided on a start date (although September is looking good) as I work full time at the moment.

Sorry to waffle, just so confussed about whats expected from me.

Thanks....

No you do not need to do your SEF for a pre-reg visit.

Your SEF is a reflective document which allows you to assess how you are getting on when you are working with children.

You need to have a good look through the pre-reg booklet before your visit and make sure you have an idea of how to answer the questions.

Hth :D
