Hi everyone

Please see below for details of the East Midlands Regional Forum which is being held in Leicester on 14th May, booking form is attached, any problems or further information required please feel free to pm me.

Christine

Dear Colleague

Please find attached your invitation and booking form for the NCMA East Midlands Annual Regional and Policy Forum Meeting. The event is fully volunteer led, by registered childminders just like you and is your chance to put your point across, make suggestions or generally talk about things which concern you. What an opportunity! A chance to meet with colleagues from across our region, to chat and socialise plus share ideas and experiences with one another.

The Forum discussion topic around the subject of NCMA Groups and Associations will no doubt be lively and give ample opportunity for us all to share our thoughts on the subject – do we need them, what are the benefits – are there any benefits? Well this is your chance to share your point of view. With an Open Forum giving you your chance to have a say on a variety of things which can or do, affect your work or your membership of NCMA – all issues raised during both the Forum Discussion and the Open Forum and views expressed will be taken forward to NCMA’s board via the regions National Policy Forum Representative, making the Regional forum the ideal place to get your voice heard.

The afternoon session will include an Educational Music Workshop delivered by Craig Trafford a qualified Educational Kinesiology Consultant and Stress Management Trainer. He is the MD of Early Ears Music and is otherwise known as The Fun Music Man.

There will be an opportunity to vote in new committee and NPF members for the future. If you are interested in joining the committee and helping to support East Midlands ’ members please complete the nomination form attached to the invitation. Should you like more information regarding any of the roles please feel free to contact the EM Secretary (contact details below).

If you have not attended a regional event before we really do hope that you will consider coming along this time. As well as all the above there will be the Creative Thinking stall, selling a wide range of early years resources, and Sarah Edwards – NCMA’s Volunteer Officer will be our Guest Speaker. We are sure you will not be disappointed and we guarantee you a very warm welcome.

Please feel free to share the invitation with your colleagues; we would love to see you and them in Leicester 14th May.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Kind regards

East Midlands Regional Committee
