hope someone can advise me

im currently nannying a 1 yr old term time only

i should be registered to childmind in the next couple of weeks

i will then childmind him in my home

i have been approached by a parent who wants me school holiday only which works out great

she has 4 boys 13 11 9 8 and wants me to care for them in her home which i think would be best too, they will have their own bedrooms to hang out in and their stuff around them to keep them amused , its only 4 hours a day.

So my question is , as a registered childminder can i still take on nanny jobs as long as the 2 do not cross over

my second question is if i were to take on another mindee , would it be appropriate to taje them to the nanny job with me on occasion assuming i had permission of both sets of parents , just wondering on where i stand legally and with OFSTED

Many Thanks

Sally :)

I nanny & childmind but not both at the same time IYGWIM! I don't think you could take a minded child to work with you as a nanny as it would prob be a legal mine field with insurance etc, but I could be wrong!
