I'm having my en-suite re-done & was wondering if I need to inform ofsted? It will only affect the children's nap times as they normally nap upstairs & I can just go out more if necessary.

I would inform Ofsted as there will be coming and going and debris and other issues.

We're having our roof done so I rang them. They just said send them an RA with expected start and end dates which I did, and within a couple of days I got a letter basically saying Thanks and just review your RA if needed.

Always best to let them know these things as it covers your bottom!

You cant be in the wrong for informing them, whereas you can be for not informing them.

Send them a quick email so at least they know and do a RA.

Enjoy the en-suite

Thanks for the replies :) I called ofsted & I don't need to do any more. Don't need to do a RA which I guess is because it's not an area the children would normally use. I was just reminded not to leave the workman alone with the children  You don't say

Thanks Jess, I can't wait to have an en-suite I'm not ashamed of!
