I just got an email, apparently from HSBC, saying my account needs updating and to click a link. I'm not with HSBC so it's obviously a scam email, but I thought i'd warn everyone. Someone who actually has an account with HSBC might click on the link without thinking!

Hi, i got these all the time, i use to just delete them but i was getting approx 5 a day from various so called banks. If you you on to your bank online there should be a place to report suspious emails and you can forward them onto to the bank. After doing this a couple of times i dont seem to get them any more.:)

My first one was from my bank, I still didn't open though but did mention it next time I was in there. They said they would NEVER contact anyone by e mail.
