Another random one from me!
Did you ID check your Inspector on arrival? I am sure I have read in my notes somewhere that you should do this.
I have my Pre-Reg visit on Friday!
Still panicking!

not important at prereg visit as you arent safeguarding anyone elses children - she should still show it though. Definately ask for it at full inspections !

my inspector had her I.D in her hand ready to show me:thumbsup: if she didnt i would have asked to see it!

same here, think they do it out of habit, but there may be one who will try to trip you up. I would start as you mean to go on and check her ID even for the pre reg visit if she doesnt offer it

Just think I may feel a little uncomfortable asking for it when I know she is arriving IYKWIM - hey ho, thats the rules, so got to get used to them!

Def check ID and get her to sign in / record in your diary - no need but shows you have already considered this aspect of safeguarding.
