Morning everyone, hope it is lovely and sunny wherever you are like it is here in Bristol.

Just a quickie, does anyone know if ELC still offer a 10% discount to childminders? I asked in the store attached to my local Mothercare and they didn't there.

if you register with elc online as a childminder, you automatically get 10% of at checkout... not sure about instore though.

Yes they do but you can only get a card from an elc not one inside a mothercare. Once you have a card you can use it in the mothercare ones. Sometimes the mothercare staff are a bit confused as to wether you can use them but you can so just get them to check as it comes up on the till that you can. Have had to get them to check before.:rolleyes:

I registered inside my local ELC shop this morning - just had to fill in quick form and show my registration certificate and then immediately qualified for 10% discount.

They will also give you 2 cards on the one account if you ask so I had one made out in my assistants name aswell :thumbsup:

You can only use the discount on full priced items. I don't use mine often, as I always try to buy the items at half price :D

I bought the Happy land dino set (half price) and a bag of musical instruments reduced from £18 to £5.40 this morning:thumbsup: I have to go back & pick up the Happyland tomorrow as I had a 2 1/2 yo with me & no buggy, so couldn't carry it. I will probably spend more tomorrow, when I go to pick it up!! :eek: :laughing:

Hi all, just thought this would be worth mentioning, as already said you do not get your 10% discount on sale items instore but you do online. I recently place an order online (having registered online aswell as instore) and I got the 10% of the sale items aswell as the full priced items, bargain :clapping: and if you spend over £50 ( I think its 50 ) you get free delivery.
They've currently got the Happyland World People set and the School Children set reduced, so with your 10% discount online they only cost £5.76 down from £8.00.
