What paint does everybody use? And where do you get it from. We go through bucket loads and I was just wondering if anyone had a secret source?

no secret source  shame!

I use ELC mostly - started using smaller pots as it ends up everywhere but on the paper  .Don't put all the colours out either - they choose a few each time. Mindees are all under 4

I get mine from ELC. I know this cleans off nicely and doesnt stain.

And they currently have 20% off crafts so are only 80p a bottle

If you have a "The Range" anywhere near you, I'd recommend there. Prices are much more reasonable than ELC and it's good stuff!

The local toddler group is using the ELC paint at the mo. They had a painting activity on Tuesday and everyone that used blue paint ended up with blue hands. It stained badly! I was most surprised. I always thought ELC paint was ok.

My LO's always use the blue ELC paint and it has never stained. It seems to be their favourite colour at the moment.

I have huge tubs of powder paints bought online, I get small bottle of ready to use paints at the supermarket and we very often make our own - both poster and water.

i use tesco poster paint as it doesn't stain either - and the works is good for glitter paint.
