........ inform Ofsted and NCMA?

Not sure if I have to inform either Ofsted or NCMA that I have a mindee starting today.

Hope someone can shed some light on this for me,

You don't have to inform Ofsted and the only reason you would need to contact NCMA is if you haven't already started your public liability.

No need to inform Ofsted or NCMA (unless, as already mentioned, for insurance)
