Hi

I'm looking for a road track system similar to the Little Tikes:

http://www.smythstoys.com/developmentactivity-64sc/roll-n-drive-activity-garage-h04831pd.aspx

We had something like this at the pre-school I used to work at but I can’t remember the make. The road tracks came in blue or yellow with no holes/gaps, small sections of various shapes (straight, junction, bendy) and a barrier/lip either side. The children could use cars, diggers, trucks to travel along without coming off the road. I spent many hours happily playing along with them!

Cost is not an issue as I have received capital funding and have a little left over to spend on this. I’ve looked on ebay, ELC, Smyths, The Entertainer, Fisher Price, Little Tikes, Tomy and only found the above. My local children’s centre toy library do not stock them either.

I am hoping your immense knowledge will come to my rescue!

Thank you

Nina

I had similar when DS was little - he is now 14!

It was ELC happy street (there was also happy tracks) now been modernised to happyland when they added lots of buildings.

Maybe it is that?

It does sound like ELC from ages ago! We have loads and a train track to match. My dd (who is now 11) had it when she was little.

That's the stuff we had - had a battery operated train that kids used to argue over!

I had to move it on - gave to a cm friend as DS then collected the wooden road and rail from ELC and I have now got it all in 2 huge boxes for mindees

some of the cars and trucks had batteries which meant they went off round the tracks by themselves when you put the driver in  the buildings were added later but that's when DS got into the wooden tracks instead

Thank you for your replies, I knew you would help me out! Its definitely the ELC Happyland road tracks, so I'm off to ebay to start bidding.
