I'm looking to do this after meeting with a local parent's forum of parents of children with disabilities - it's a kind of kitemark award which means my setting is suitable for a child with disabilities. Does anyone know what it involves?

Many thanks

I have got Staffordshire's equivalent, it involved filling in a questionaire, having visits, only informal, and having a chat with the parent of a disabled child that I look after.
Hope this helps

Thank you very much. I've emailed the parent's forum website for further info (after meeting their Chair at a conference the other weekend) and they want to come next week   I'm really nervous as I don't know what it involves and I'd ike to be a bit more prepared. I'm assuming they do a few visits before giving the PAT mark so I can make sure I reflect/adapt my practice as necessary? I don't currently look after any children with physical disabilities but I do have a child with speech and language issues.
