Just had a call to say my 2 minds today are both poorly and won't be with me today, giving me a day to devote to my own children!! Sounds awful but I'm really pleased, plus I still get paid :-). Hope they get better soon though...

aww I know it's sad when littlies are ill but nice to have a bonus day. I'm off today too - I can't handle 5 days a week in the hols anymore:panic:

Hope your mindees get better soon. I sometimes feel the same when mindees are on holiday or parents have collected them from school. I'm in the middle of having over a week off as my mindee is on holiday, plus as I didn't get much notice I'm still getting paid.

Mum of my 10 mth old arrived this morning telling me they will have 2 weeks off next month. He's 3 full days a week, one and a half day I've got only him, so will be a bit of a holiday for me too :)
