I'm just about to buy a toy kitchen with loads of extras for £20 off someone from a local facebook group selling toys. In terms of receipting it, do I need to get her to write something or receipt myself?

When I've bought things like that I get the seller to give me a receipt. Sometimes its been out of a receipt book but sometimes its just been a piece of paper with the item sold, how much, my name their name and the date. I hope its enough!

I usually just write the item, sellers name and address, the date and amount on a post it note and ask seller to sign it. Sometimes I just sign it myself

If you are buying it then ask them to email you an invoice and then you can prove that it has been paid by your bank account
