ICP???

Hi

Well as my visit is getting closer im paniking and wondering if i have enough hours in the day between now and wed especially with it being half term

Anyway I keep hearing about an ICP course. I have just done the CRC in oxford, is this the same thing? It was 2 days and we covered all about setting up, h&s ect ect

Just wondered if this ICP is something I have missed?

Any help would be appreciated

They are called different things depending on where you live!

Im in Norfolk and just finished my ICP before xmas.
It was a 7 week course (2 and 1/2 hrs 1 evenin a week plus 6hrs on a sat) which covered everything we needed to know about being a childminder, starting up, h&s, business (tax etc), what records you have to keep, eyfs, a bit about obs/planning/activities etc, a bit about policies&procedures, and a safeguarding module which is apparantly the most important bit.

I was told that an ICP had to be completed within 6months of becoming registered. I don't know about there being a difference in courses where you live but if your unsure can't you contact your local Childminding service or council to find out?
