world book day

Hi has any one got any ideas for dress up for World book day 7th March (theme Adventure) Minded gone blank!
DD needs for school age 8 can only think of liitles people ones; Dora, Diego,
Any ideas would be great

we are doing Dorathy from Wizard of Oz (dd age 3) and Wally from Where's Wally :clapping: (ds age 6)
most characters have adventures, what is their fav character?
last year my ds went as Cat in the Hat that was brill and won a prize for originality, there was a lot of Ben 10's! i did think of Horrid Henry but found it hard to make look convincing?

My ds 7 is dressing up as Peter out of Chronicals of Narnia.. Really looking forward to it...not sure teachers will be happy about his sword though:blush: so going to speak to his teacher and take it off him in class and give him back at hometime.. Hes very excited as loves these stories and films...:clapping:
