what is the simplest way you describe the EYFS to them.

There's this Government thing I have to work with... it's called the Early Years Foundation Stage - the Eyfs.
Do you know anything about it? Are there any parts of it that worry you...?
It is a combination of regulations about how I care for your child and how I work with you to make sure all your child's needs are met.
There are lots of different parts to it - if you read my welcome pack it will give you a lot of information - and I have lots of other details about it I will share with you as we go along.
A bit like that I think :D
