Photo upload help please

I've bought myself a new digital camera (only a cheap one but I'm fed up of trying to wrestle the family one off DS:rolleyes: )

I've downloaded the photo's onto my 'puter but when I try to upload to show you all my lastest display ;) it won't - too big or something.

This never happened with the other camera is there anyway around this?

N.B. My techy knowledge is VERY limited (actually I can't believe I got the photo's from the camera to the 'puter!!) so any instructions/explaination must be very basic :blush:

Hard to say without knowing what type of camera etc. but with ours there are three settings for quality. The better the quality the bigger the pic, in kb that is not dimensions!

If they are too big (in kb) you will need to resize them using some kind of photo programme such as Photoshop

After a bit of digging rurns out the camera has 5 resolution settings Iopted for the middle one 1600 x 1200 and I think it will work.

Will re-take the photo's tomorrow and try to upload again.
