says J (7) who has been with us for a month now..

"how old do you think i am?"

"oooh about 20"

bless him

"well i am 43"

T (10) says "flippin heck that is old....but you dont look it !"

was that a compliment?

later on we are playing with the cardboard boxes in the lounge and G (a girl) asks to look at my wedding photos....she likes to do this sometimes, so out comes the album.
J has a look..

"where is Uncle Phil"

"oh there he is"

"so wheres the man you married"

me "there...uncle phil"

"no...the man you married!

"yes...uncle phil"

"you married him!!!???"

"J who do think uncle phil is?"

"your uncle?"

so funny....told phil and he laughed his head off.
Told mum and she was horrified!!! she did laugh though when she realised we thought it was very very very funny.

I had a mindee who was convinced that his mum was much much younger than me.... I was 22 and she must have been late 40's. mindee used to tell me I was rubbish because his mum had to be the best and i don't do a proper job  you know what convo's go on at home!

My eldest mindee knows how old I am and takes delight in reminding me what age every birthday!!
