2 hrs a week - what do I need?

Hi
I will be having a 2 year old and a four year old for 2 hours, one day a week after school. Do I need to do an Early Years passport and starting points docs etc still? LJ for 4 year old I am going to add stuff into her school LJ as have good relationship with school and do a little LJ for the 2 year old but wasn't sure about all the starting off documents.

yes you need to the EYFS and resulting journals for both children - of course in relation to how long you have them.

don't forget school can add to YOUR LJ too.

all the same starting docs as any other child - contract, child record forms, permissions etc

Thankyou - LOVE the idea of school adding to my learning journal but just can't see it happening. Not been doing this job long but does seem that we are the childcare profession that has to fit ito everyone else's schedules rather than the other way round .... but we'll see.:)
