Ok - my network co-ordinator came today & my child protection policy needs some changes. Firstly i'm to re-name it Safe Guarding Children Policy.

Then where I have listed Lancashire Childrens Social Care, I have to re write this section as Social Services, NW Lancs Area, Fylde & Wyre Team. arrrrrhhhhh my head, as i feel i'm getting it round something its all change again!

I thought that Social Services had been re-named as it were to childrens social care?:(

:D Yeah i found this redently too . I think social services as a national thing is now called childrens social care . But i thought social services delt with adults too so i don't know whats happened to them lol! Anyway child prtection is now called safegaurding children - thats so its prevention rather prtection , dealing with issues before they need protection from issues IYSWIM ! Then my local safegaurding team have there own name !! Crazy really
