Hello.

im so excited. my first mummy, daddy and baby came to see me on friday and she phoned today. she has chosen me :) its 3 full days and he will be 9mths old when he starts end of march, my lil man will be 13mths by then so it fits in perfectly and i have also been asked to have a friends baby to the other 2 days.

Just need some schoolies now but ive had 2 enquiries already.

it was a recommendation from a friend i met at a local netmums meet up. also i didnt overwhelm her with paperwork or show her round my house, they just came and had a chat with me and dp. i played with her baby (he was so yummy) and i gave her a leaflet about me and my fee's ect. i didnt mention eyfs, learning journals or any paperwork. i just said if she chooses me we will sort it all then.

When i was choosing a childminder 3 years ago for ds1 i choose the childminder who didnt confuse me with paperwork, the one who i thought my son would like. the one who got down on the floor and seemed interested in looking after my son rather than paperwork. i know we have to do it but i think parents care more about how you are with there children than policies.

ive inivited the mummy to soft play with us next week so the baby can get to know me and my boys with mummy there and we can get to know each other.

It is also over a month since i was regisitered.
