If a new minder or a parent was to ask you what a 'quality' setting/provider was too look like what would you say?

(I know NCMA has their description of what quality looks like but I want to know what you think).

a caring and interested (in the child and parents) manner
a professional but fun outlook
honest and open
clear policies and a transparent way of working

That was one of the questions the NCB researcher asked me last week. My answer:

Somebody who cares for the children as if they were their own
Somebody who understands child development and provides fun activities to stimulate and involve the children
Somebody who is friendly, approachable and professional and committed to keeping skills and knowledge up to date
