How often to update?

Hi how often do you update the learning journals? Do I add something each time I have mindee, he comes once a week for a day.

Hi! i was told to do one big ob a month (linking it to eyfs and doing next steps and a photo) and then just add pics and little comments as and when you think with a little comment next to it, eg if they say something new or do a really good picture.

There is no set pattern of doing obs.

You do obs in relation to how often you have the child so for instance a child who is more or less full time you might get 1/2 obs a week - a child who only comes 10hrs per week you might only get one obs evey couple of weeks.

there are going to be times when you get more obs than other times....

obs occur as planned moments - you are looking for something specific, you have set up etc

a wow moment - something significant happens
