how long between inspection?

I know inspections are every 3 years but was wondering how 'on time' ofsted are with them.
I got a satisfactory on my 1st inspection as I was on maternity leave so thought I might get one sooner than 3 years but they still haven't called.
My inspection is due in June, not sure whether to expect one in the next few months or if it will definately be in June.
Just wondered what everyone else's experience with inspections times have been.

Mine was 3 years and 4 months and that was only because I asked them to come out as I was doing my nvq and needed an uptodate report. My other cm friend has been waiting now 4 years and 4 months and then my other cm friend had hers after 18 months.

I think it depends where you live / what area you are in as to whether they are on time or not :D

My last one, 2 years ago, was dead on 3 years (almost to the day), but I have friends who were last inspected 3yrs 7mths ago and still no sign of them being done.

Mine is due again next Feb and we joke that I'll probably be inspected before them :rolleyes:

I think it depends where you live / what area you are in as to whether they are on time or not :D

I also think it depends on which inspector you get - some are far more organised and up to date than others.

mine was 3 yrs 5 months ago just asked for variation and thought it would spark an inspection and still didnt

My last inspection was 3 years and 8 months, didn't actually realise it was overdue till the inspector called :D

I was inspected 6 months early and a cm friend who lives near me was inspected 10 month early:eek:
