Pre-Reg Visit

Hello, can anyone help me with this. Application sent to Ofsted, CRB back since 28th Dec. Should I chase Ofsed for visit date or just wait for them??

id chase it up at least by phoning you will know it is all been dealt with its horrible waiting for something you feel like your just waiting for the postman or for the phone to ring all the while

Thanks, I called them and they said social services lost my forms so they had to be re-issued and that my visit would be done by a company called Tribal not ofsted??

They said tribal were coming to me to, Just look at there identy badge thing when they come x

Ofsted have outsourced their inspections to 2 companies, Tribal are one of them :thumbsup:

I rang Tribal or Prospect direct and they said an inspector would ring me in two days, they rang about 4 days later I think so it's definitely worth chasing them. They just asked for my Ofsted reg number. Good luck :)

I had Prospects come to me for my 1st inspection last week and the lady said that she would have allowed me to use my downstairs loo for the children had she done my pre-reg visit whereas ofsted deemed it a big no no :rolleyes:

I got the call today, inspector wanted to come tomorrow but I had to put it off as we have had a family emergency. New date the 1st Feb!!
