Hi, I've recently done pdf files and I give them to parents on a disc. The best site is:

www.doc2pdf.net

Scrool down to the bottom, find your file and press and it's done! Much better than some other ones which take ages to do.

Hope this helps :)

I have Word 2007 and you can just save a file as a PDF. Not tried any other ways x

Probably being really thick but is the idea of making something into a PDF so that it cannot be edited?

Cute PDF is also free and acts as a printer in which you print your word document into a pdf.

it is also worth noting that not everyone has publisher and therefore if the file is to be sent on they may not be able to open it...

the same can be said for word...

however a range of microsoft viewers can help

or something like open office
