Had a family round to visit us this afternoon with view to placing their son with us from the end of the month and his sibling later in the year. The sibling has not yet been born and Mum was IN LABOUR
she had been contracting every 10mins from midnight, but not very strong. She said she wanted to continue with the planned appointment as it would take her mind off it  I have never talked to someone about our services before whilst they are breathing their way through a contraction!
Mick was ready with the rubber gloves and towels
Well we are waiting with bated breath now for 2 answers :D

Ah bless her!

Did you give her a towel to sit on just in case her waters broke?

I took my boys to school whilst in labour. It was DS2's first day and I had to be there!!

I must admit I was concerned when she rang to say she was in labour but still wanted to come, my 2nd and 3rd labours were short and intense and I couldn't imagine trying to hold a conversation with anyone!
This lady landed up with a C-section last time because she didn't progress I just hope for hersake this doesn't happen agian because this time she has to cope with a 20mth old as well :(

I think you're very brave - I'd have been terrified in case she gave birth :panic:

Hope it's a good omen though and you get the job!

Oh Mick loves his rubber gloves, you should see him put them on when he is going to change a nappy, you would think he is going to perform surgery :D

Hope you get them too! What a great story.

I went to the hair dressers when in labour. It was just the start and more uncomfortable than anything. I kept squirming in my chair and the hair dresser (male) was extremely worried! A few hours after getting home my waters broke - lucky that didn't happen at the salon.
