chasing CRB

Hi, I hope someone may be able to help me.

I am waiting for dh's CRB to come back, mine came back within a couple of days (I was very lucky), but am still waiting on dh's.

It will be 8 weeks on Friday, does anyone know when and how I can chase this up? I have had my pre reg visit and am ready to go apart from this check.

Really hope it comes through soon, I can't wait to get started!

give them a ring & they will give you a reference number so you can check it online, though it still wont give you a estimated completed day, it just tells you what stage its at.

do you mean you have had your pre-reg from your local team or you have had your inspection from ofsted? as i still had my inspection even though my CRb hadnt come back (that took about 4 months) then ofsted sent out my cert when they had my CRB sent them :thumbsup:

My visit was from Ofsted and dh's CRB is at stage 4 and has been since 12 November!

I guess I just have to sit tight.

Just getting slightly inpatient, as I really want to get things started!

You can ring Ofsted and ask them to chase it for you.
