Snap, im looking for a holiday in skeggy same week as well lol, cheapest ive found for that week (as its peak season) is £380.00.
It depends on what you want from the site itself aswell, Im looking for somewhere that has lots of activities for my children as I dont want to spend a fortune keeping them entertained day and evening.
Best site i`ve found so far is http://www.ukcaravans4hire.com/coastfield.html Hope that helps hun, if you find a bargain let me know and I will do the same xx

We'd prefer a shop on site but toher than that were not bothered, dont plan on spending any time on site anyway. My kids are aged 6 3 and 1 and wouldnt really join in with to many activites. Thanks for the link ill check it out, the follwoing link is the ebst one ive found so far, tons to look through, only problem is after the first 2 pages most still have 2010 prices up

Why Skeggy??? dunno really, its the closest seaside town to us, its reasonably cheap compared to other seaside towns, We know where everything is, Theres tons to do if wet and cold (like it always is when we go away) and the kids love it there.

Ive not bene in a tent since i was 14, and you'd never ever get the wife in one, but thank you for the offer :D

Have you looked at Mablethorpe? It's just along the coast from Skeggy, smaller and a bit quieter.

Hiya, yeah we have started to look there, and can have somewhere for £270 whihc is a saving of £80.....but being a 30 min drive from skeggy, we wudnt be far off spending £80 on bus fares or petrol and parking charges for the week

Have you tried the Hoseasons website.

We are going to Goldensands which is about 20 miles from skegness in July for £283 for 4 adults and 3 kids

golden sands at the other end of Mablethorpe so a good 30 min drive from Skegness.

Bit of a long shot but if you save Tesco clubcard vouchers as I do and have £189 worth you could stay with Park Resorts at Southview Leisure Park (sorry don't know how to put links on).

I always save my vouchers and had a week in Great Yarmouth with Park Resorts a couple of years ago and have now got enough for a another week at some point.

Hi hun, yes i`ve booked one for the first week in August, cost £500 for 7 days but so much for everyone to do on the site I think (fingers crossed) its going to be worth the money. And its a lovely caravan with sky tv and a jacuzi lol so I can send hubby off with the kids while I soak in the bubbles and watch tv (as if).
hope you have a great time
