Fire blanket

Where do i need to put this? I know in the kitchen but is there a certain location or height or whatever it has to be at?

Easily accessable away from the cooker - so you don't have to lean accross a fire to get to it. That's all the fire brigade told me.:)

I thought I responded to this? Hmmm, must be losing my mind. I was told it had to be mounted to the wall, away from the cooker.

The fire brigade told me the same as they told Julia & Sarah

If you speak to your local brigade they will advise - they might even come out and have a check on your smoke alarms (that they are positioned right etc).
