I have embraced the glitteriness!! I no longer care that after vacuuming 3 times my hall is sparkly and have decided to like it instead :clapping:

I think this has been coming ever since the time ds was small and got glitter all over my black suit - and I didnt realise until I was introduced in court by the CPS as "a very sparkly Youth Offending Team worker"

Yes, I rather like the glittery appearance of my carpet and the inside of my Dyson is looking very festive.Only place I don't like it is on my hands as it seems to get transferred to other places, which I won't mention! My sink is sparkly too.

My lot were 'allowed' to use some at cm group, but then they brought the crafts back here, it's all over the car and the house!

Me too! Glitter is banned in my house except..............

at Christmas

Kids get so excited - my 8 year old was jumping up and down with glee the other day because I said we could get the glitter out - made me feel a right cruel mum for banning... for about 5 minutes until she got the glitter out and I remembered why it's banned.

My dog looks shiny too now!!!!!!!!!!!

I like glitter but I find myself helping to apply it to the pictures in the hope that it doesn't go everywhere. Although I don't like it coming home from pre-school as it get all over the car!

i only allow it out at christmas or at toddler group! lol.

i keep in full control of it and actually put my hand over theirs when administering it,(i know thats wrong and they should have free rein but i just can't do it!) lol.

wouldnt mind so much if the flippin stuff stuck but it doesn't unless theres half a pot of glue on the paper!

I detest it with a passion. It only ever comes out at Christmas, and then for one day only.
Today has been THE DAY, and thankfully the glitter is now safely packed away for another 365 days.:clapping: I have been using tinsel ribbon as a substitue:blush: , it is great for giving a bit of sparkle to crafts without the hassle of clearing up.
