Can I just be cheeky, I have been trying to pluck up courage for a while, are you called fussy elmo for a reason or do you love elmo, I ask because one of my mindees, who is now 18 absolutely adored cookie monster when she was little and is still known by this nick name? I remember when she was two, Sesame Street was touring celebrating its 25 anniversary, and I took her to Nottingham to see it, it is something we still talk about, she can remember it all because it was all about how the cookie monster saved everyone. The poor woman in front must have been black and blue because N kept hitting her on the shoulder telling her her friend cookie monster was there (the woman took it in good heart though).
It is funny the things that we remember isn't it. I have known N since she was 6 months old and have looked after her and her younger sister for many years (infact N has her bag permanently packed in her bedroom at home for when she has fall outs with parents so she is ready to come and have a sleep over and everyone can chill out a bit).
Sorry for the long one but I think it is the time of year, makes us all go strange .
