how to set up a paying in book??

does any one know how i go about setting up a paying in book for a parent to pay direct into my bank?

I only do direct bank transfer....do they have online/telephone banking? you just need your account no. and sort code x

I do not have paying in books for any of my accounts anymore. 2 of my parents pay direct into my bank online. I invoice them a week or so before the end of the month and give them my account number, sort code and account name. Other parent still pays weekly by cheque and I pay into the bank.

If they are doing it online then you don't need a book but if they are depositing manually ask your bank for an additional deposit book

thankyou all for help and replies. have set up account with bank to use with paying in book. fingers crossed this method will work ok.
