I found this fab book on e-bay, although you can buy it anywhere I imagine.
It's a beautifully written and illustrated book for children whose parents are seperated or divorced. I thoroughly recommend getting this one. By the way Ofsted inspector loved it!

On the back cover it says:

Alex has two homes- a home where Daddy lives and a home where Mummy lives. Alex has two front doors, two bedrooms and two very different favourite chairs. But whther Alex is with Mummy or Daddy, one thing always stays the same: Alex is loved by both of them.

Its also reviewed by Booklist:

"Parents looking for a book about seperation or divorce will find few offering as positive, matter of fact or child-centred as this one."

Thanks for that I will look, I mind a LB who's parents have seperated, he refers to mums house and dads house but never calls either home. I find it really distressing as everyone needs a 'home' but he is finding it really difficult to adjust.

I think this might be the ticket

great I am looking to increase my books. I have two step children who are 11 and 14 and come here, and it will help explain to the younger ones why they only come sometimes.

Thanks
