View Full Version : My Daughter has put a smile back on my face

After losing 5 children all in one go on Monday I have been feeling a bit down in the dumps.

My DD has just changed that:) She has just text me (she is at Nottingham University studying Law) she has just got her first assignment back and she has done us so proud as she has got a .......................

FIRST:clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

I am sitting hear as all 3 kids are asleep grinning from ear to ear :)

My DH is going to pick her up on saturday as she breaks up for christmas and is home for a month. I really cant wait to give her a big hug.

I have found this term hard with her being away, we went up to see her at the end of Oct but she hasn't been home since she started as her course is so full on she spends most of her weekends reading and writing

thats brilliant news!! I know how you feel my dd is the same shes away from home at uni too and I miss her every minute!!

well done your daughter :clapping: My ds comes home next friday (17th) he is in his second year at uni and I still miss him loads, tho once he is home and his roo+m is a mess I wonder why I miss him so much :D

Beetlejuice I am fine and am around just dont do mini's at the moment as O does not like it, although will be at the party next week.

I will be at the partylite party on friday so may see you there :)
