Hi, does anyone have a comprehensive list of what is needed in a forst aid box please?? i was going to buy a ready made one but thought i might have a go at making one up myself but not sure what is "allowed" or needed in the box

We were told that there isn't a prescribed list as such (the HSE website backs this up), but that whatever your list says is in the box, should be in the box as a minimum, so you need to keep it topped up or have a few extra supplies.

The book (item 16) can be a basic emergency first aid instruction guide, like this http://www.redcross.org.uk/What-we-do/First-aid/First-aid-tips-and-videos/~/media/BritishRedCross/Documents/What%20we%20do/First%20aid/Pocket%20sized%20combined%20tips.ashx rather than a comprehensive manual.

Thank you so much xx thats just what I was looking for....i will get the items from asda as they are supposed to be the cheapest for basic first aid supplies thanks again xxxx
