Sparkle Snow Paint

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup water

Mix together and put in a squeeze bottle. Squeeze doughy paint out on to black construction paper.

Make anything snowy, snowflakes, snowmen, - we made snow covered mountains with the moon and lights. Let dry thoroughly and it will sparkle.

May also be painted (when dry) and allowed to dry again. This is a great 3 dimensional effect for snow

great idea..

I just made some and covered my salt dough snowmen in it...hopefully that will make them more snowy-glittery

I also thought that maybe it might be a good idea to add food colouring to the mix...so you can make sparkly greens and reds..not snowy but still nice for christmas I think!

might try it for a change, I usually mix white paint (or any colour) with glitter makes it sparkly as well

Thank you Angel. I tried this this morning. I cut out Snowman shapes in black paper along with eyes and buttons, orange carrot noses and different colour bow ties.

The children used a teaspoon to put the 'paint' on the snowman and then added the decorations. Now they are drying and beginning to sparkle. I will try to post a photo later.

Ooh, the babies are all asleep so I'm going to try this now! I'm already covered in glitter from doing our display, so a bit more gloop won't do any harm
