I am supposed to be at uni today - its too bad to go in so its supposed to be a 'study day' - well get the assignment sorted day. My day 'off'.

anyway as a favour to one mum because she has an interview - she asked me to watch her kids (P&R) while she went. Now she has turned up 45 mins early cause of the snow - no probs with that - I totally understand and I will be charging. Lent her my brolly to as well.....

anyway - while we are doing fat balls for the birds - R announces I was sick this morning - twice. I froze..... and asked what he meant - P pipes up all over the floor in the lounge. I asked why he threw up - did he have a sore tummy or had he eaten lots and jumped about - he said no I have a sore tummy but mummy told me not to tell......

arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - THAT is all i need.

no point in texting/ringing mum - she will be in the interview but i will be having sharp words....... IF I or any of mine go down with a sore tummy and closures result I WILL be charging her. Flipping do the woman a HUGE favour and this is how I am repaid - wonderful. I know the interview is really important to her - she is desparate to change jobs but ..... IF she had been honest and said he has been sick can you/would you......

arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - disinfectant disinfectant disinfectant.......

You need some of those contaimination suits and greet mum in them and when she asks why - say you dont want his sickness bug.

But honestly doesnt matter how important her interview was she should have mentioned it especially as you are doing it as a favour.

I would be spitting venom - how dare she have so little respect for you and your family.
that would be enough for me to give notice on the spot i'm afraid - you're putting yourself out for someone and they stamp all over you. :( :censored:

sorry forgot to come back....

mum said it was all water..... he'd drunk lots of water and had been jumping around on his bed and spewed back the water and this was before breakfast.
i did point out that really she should have told me out of courtsey at the very least. she did have the grace to look really sheepish and she did apologise. she did say he'd eaten breakfast and lunch with no probs and he hadn't complained of a sore tummy (admittedly he hadn't when I asked).
I said I knew how important the interview was but if the kids are off again next week and any of us come down with a sore tummy i can't open, meaning i loose money and 5 sets of families loose childcare.

she has text me this morning to say sorry again and that he has been absolutely fine.
